Gingerbread houses...sort of :-)

On Sunday, we went to the Davenport Hotel downtown and looked at their amazing gingerbread houses.  The theme this year was Disney, I believe, and there were some crazy ones.  The rule is that everything you see has to be edible...to someone anyways :-)  it was a lot of fun, though we missed them working on them by like 5 seconds..the finishing bell had just rung when we walked in..maybe next year we will go a little earlier.

  1. I LOVE that competition! My favorite from two years ago was a Goodnight Moon one...and a scene from one of the Madeleine books!

  2. Is she really putting candy canes ON the tree??? I imagine her taking them OFF! Is it a live tree-in-the-pot? Great gingerbread houses!

  3. Is that the only tree you have this year? It is not too bad. :) Megan can reach most branches anyway!

Gingerbread houses look fun. We are going to do one tomorrow...but it comes in a box. :)
